Beethoven's Diabelli Variations: #32 and #33

Pretty cool stuff, despite the evil 33:

that was written way before 33 had any evil connotations - this 33 has to just be a coincidence.

well, freemasonry was active when Beethoven was alive, and 33 did have significance in that regard then. Note, this set of variations had 33 in total. This was unusual for Beethoven who tended towards 32-- he wrote another set of 32 variations and he wrote 32 total sonatas. Since the Diabelli variations were written towards the end of his life, it's possible the 33 has some special significance that he attained a certain level.

What's the deal with so many criminals (especially murderers) whose middle name is "Wayne"?

Anything Freemasonary with THAT?

Hmmm... I don't know that there are THAT many killers with that middle name are there? But I suppose there could be a cryptic link--- or middle it's just a common hick, low-class middle name, where these guys often come from.

I don't know the percentage of killers whose middle name is Wayne, but anecdotal evidence suggests that the percentage is higher than one might expect it to be.

I first noticed this some years ago and just recently I've seen others commenting about it on various Web sites.
