Overt US Foreign Policy in a Nutshell

The US will wage preemptive war on countries if the US thinks that doing so is necessary to prevent these countries from developing a deterrent (i.e. nuclear weapons) against the US attacking these countries.

(Tip to GG.)

AP adds:
(Greenwald has a) kind of blog that appears to dig deep, in reality only looks just barely below the surface, as follows. Iran’s leadership, like America’s, is controlled by MI6 and Rome (with Langley often used as intermediary, and with obvious hangouts/patsies set up [like AIPAC]). Ahmadinejad, et al, are playing their parts according to their scripts. They may be trying to create nukes to raise tensions, have defense or for deeper purposes-- including all the deeper reasons for perennial War. Or they NOT actually be trying to acquire nukes-- only to make it look like they are-- for some of these same reasons. Taken in tandem with the North Korean hogwash, makes things clear. Bogus enemies making it look like they have, or are about to acquire nukes provides an excuse for great tension, possible War, “Homeland Security” apparatus and the full Gestapoization of the USA. The leaders of these other nations we go to war against, or make it look like we are about to, are really agents of MI6/CIA/Rome (like Saddam and others), and people need to know this. Likewise the people need to know the deepest reasons why the British American Regime creates these bogus enemies, and either lets them have nukes, or the appearance that they have or may soon acquire them. The level that Greenwald writes about, appearing to seem “deep” is in fact superficial; and not helpful toward terminating the chaos and evil we are in. He does indeed need to read and then promulgate the truth here -- wtcdemolition.blogspot.com and anonymous-physicist.blogspot.com.

The exact opposite position is even more credible than the one you two pose.

M16/Rome certainly would like for the world to think that they control Iran's leadership, but in reality, you don't have to dig very deep to realize there is no credible evidence to support such a theory.
