"No Plane" Witness

Maria and her employees were stunned when they saw the horrible sight of the World Trade Tower building burning furiously -- thick, black smoke, billowing out of the first tower. Initially, everyone thought it simply a tragic airline accident, when without warning, the second tower exploded into flames. No one saw the second plane take deliberate aim for the tower, and it wasn't until later that news reports confirmed that the U.S. was under terrorist attack.

From the pictures at the site, it seems as though these people were in a close enough position to see or hear a plane.

Yes, Spooked. It DOES seem as though
"these people were in a close enough position to see or hear a plane."

The fact that they apparently didn't "see or hear a plane" probably explains why Maria's story appears on the relatively obscure "Legal Crier"
Web site rather than on FOX news or DU.

Shill is basically another job for "clerk typist". They're the absolute bottom of the ladder of Federal Employees and contractors.

They're not even worth a second of your time.

Interestingly, the nineeleven.co.uk board is infested by a shill John White with 10 accounts who writes "nonseance" and "evidance". He's making a real fool out of himself.

Fred,

For someone that's little more than a "clerk typist" (your words), you've got to admit that the SHILLS over at DU ARE very good at what they do.

As I recently noted, a fairly new poster there (username "Duane Behrens") is getting his lunch eaten by the SHILLS. I predicted he wouldn't last long, despite being smart, informed, and reasonably able to assert himself.

Yesterday, in one of his posts, he said that he was sure he'd probably get banned from the site pretty soon. "bolopoofter" has gotten to him BIG time and brother Duane just doesn't know how to apply the rules of engagement when confronted with professional SHILLS. He'll make a good point, but just can't purge the urge to stop when he does. Inevitably he adds something else that "bolopoofter" can use to avoid the point Mr. Behrens made, and Mr. Behrens then takes the bait every single time. He's becoming frustrated and I predict they'll get rid of him very, very soon.

YES, I acknowledge the difficulties
caused by the fact that the SHILLS at DU have the upper hand with the
owners/operators and don't have to worry about getting banned or worrying about whether one of their posts will get deleted (thus leading to the poster's eventual resting place in the graveyard).

democratic underground...we've resorted to Blog-Wars when we should be interviewing witnesses and doing grassroots awareness, leafleting, etc...this movement puts WAY too much emphasis on the net...old school is the best way...

Video seems to be a good method to attack the bad guys. [DVD project coming out in a couple of weeks]

Maybe they've got higher quality shills at DU. I don't frequent that site.

Interestingly, this blog seems to have a dedicated low-quality shill posse (reno, sword pincher, and the phony conspiracy smasher). The British Campaign For 9/11 Truth disinfo site has its own dedicated shill posse (multiple accounts from John White, plus chek and Stefan). Perhaps they assigned teams to the various sites and divided up the various media outlets into cells to be infiltrated by various shills. Maybe DU was considered to be "important" and got higher-quality shills.

What are your views as to the cheapest and most effective ways to thwart the bad guys? I'm not really familiar with old-school activism. If I wanted to spend $50 on it, what would be the best way to spend it?

activism...
* a stack of flyers to the local shopping mall parking lot - stick one under each car's wiper blade.
* if your city/town has a swap-meet set up a booth where you either sell 9/11 dvds for very little ($5.00/ea) or even give them away free - include a 9/11 flyer or bumper sticker with each one. be prepared to recite your 9/11 lecture over and over.

anon@10:30 has some good ideas...
old-school means grassroots, door to door, local teach-ins, workshops...this is how the environmental and anti-globalization movements were so effective--until Operation S-11, which i believe was designed to thwart the anti-globalization movement, as well as provide a reason to colonize the middle east for Big Oil and CIA narco-trafficking (afghan poppy)...i wish the best and brightest anti-globalization and environmental activists would get involved in S-11 research/awareness...but perhaps they're too busy or don't know what to believe about S-11...
