The Towers

Check out this video.

It's beautiful aerial views of the WTC before 9/11.

Look how the buildings tower over lower Manhattan.

Think how strong those towers must have been.

Imagine what it would have taken to bring down those towers.

Would airplane crashes and some jet fuel really be enough?

Look at the video.

Oh...my god.

I'm not sure exactly what you think happend that day on 9/11, personally I don't want to know. If you honestly believe a boeing and a "little bit of fuel" couldn't cause that much destruction you're insane. One of those aircraft carries enough fuel to keep your SUV's engine running for 67 years. Think of a car crash, where the car is traveling at 70 mph, weighing 2,200 lbs, and slams into a solid wall. That car is going to be smashed to shit, and the wall is going to be pretty fucked up. Now consider a boeing, weighing close to 235,000 lbs, raveling close to 600mph slamming into the same wall. Not much of either is going to exist.

Simply put, you're an idiot, and I'm not quite sure how you received your degree in biomedical research.

..."pretty fucked up"
..."smashed to shit,"

...are those little etymological gems some kind of highly technical terminology you learned while getting your advanced Degree?

hehe :-)

With you possessing such an obviously erudite command of the English language as you do, someone could easily mistake you for someone holding a Ph.D or sumethin'!

Yep! you convinced me! the perfectly vertical collapse (ask ANY architect or engineer how NATURAL they are in STEEL FRAMED BUILDINGS!) was caused by little 'ol dangerous, controlled demolition inducing, "Jet A" fuel.

Yep, I forgot. Jet fuel has the magical ability to burn most of itself off on impact, yet still be able to make all 47 of the 2" thick WTC core columns fail at exactly the same time (or you would not see a perfectly vertical collapse like you did, you would see it topple over).

GOTTA Luv that MAGIC Jet Fuel!!!!

if we assume that 175 did indeed strike wtc2 we must then take into account that those planes wont leave the ground with even 1 drop of extra fuel. and then flying around for an hour would probably burn up a good 1/3 of the total so that when it (175) finally made it's way to wtc2 (600 mph? at sea level? ha.) and somehow entered the building like a ghost without any hole appearing until after the plane is well inside (slow the videos down) and then the explosion burns up the remaining fuel outside the building leaving a cartoon-like-plane-shaped hole behind that is actually smaller that the plane was, it strains the bounds of credibility to believe that the towers fell without help from the silverstein/blackwater crew.

anonymous-- I assume you know the WTC towers were designed to withstand the impact of a fully-loaded 707, similar in size to the 767.

I assume you know aircraft are not freight trains or battering rams-- they are lightweight aluminum structures built to fly. Planes break apart quite easily. They do not ram straight into steel framed buildings without anything breaking off, no matter how fast they are going.

What do you think is the weight of a plane versus ONE FLOOR of the WTC?

a 767's mass is approximately 3 100ths of one percent of the total mass of wtc1 or 2

Actually, the Twin Towers were designed to withstand the impact of not one, but TWO PLANES...EACH!!:

Frank A. De Martini: Manager, WTC Construction & Project Management. Missing since 9/11/01 - Recorded 01/25/01
"The building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it, that was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building could probably sustain multiple impacts of jet liners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door, this intense grid, and the jetplane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting."
